Antrad Medical has developed a technology that quickly and hygienically heats the plasma by means of an electric field. With a unique and easy field balencer the company ensures that the plasma is heated homogeneously. The company was founded in 2008 and is based on research developed by Lars Ekemar, CTO of the company.

- When a patient is bleeding, it is urgent. Today, using water or hot air it takes 25-40 minutes to thaw plasma we do it on five minutes. Every minute counts, and in emergency situations, our new technology helps saving lives. We are delighted to bring strong new shareholder in the company and confidently look forward to accelerating our growth through the funding that we have now taken up, says Kurt Högnelid, CEO of Antrad Medical.

- The market is expressing a clear need to start for solution. It increases the safety of operations and save money when you reduce the risk of long interruptions in ongoing operations. I can see a relatively short path to the launch of start for the product and the opportunity for revenue for the company, which is obviously an advantage for STING Capital, says Martin Gemvik, investment manager at STING Capital.
